Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Meal: our spread from 2011. Salmon, mashed
potatoes, sausage, stuffing, asparagus, cranbery sauce,
salad, bread, quiche...
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I thought I would share some of the things I am thankful for this year:
  • I am thankful for my family and that everyone is safe and happy this year.
  • I am thankful for my fiance and the wonderful opportunity he got this year to go back to school.
  • I am thankful for my step-son who is a wonderful kiddo and we miss him so much during the year.
  • I am thankful for my nephew who I can't wait to see! Can't believe he's already a year old!
We are going to my parents for Thanksgiving. Some years we have the very traditional Thanksgiving dinner, with Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, etc., but other years we have our own typical meal. This year is the latter. We are going to have salmon, scalloped potatoes, salad, bread and I'm sure some other side dishes that my mom comes up with.I am bringing scalloped potatoes, rosemary and pepper bread, Italian cheese bread, pumpkin bread and some apple cider shortbread cookies. My younger brother typically makes pumpkin and apple pies.

What are you thankful for? What are your plans for Thanksgiving? (or what did you do?)

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
