WW#8: Stained Glass

Happy Wednesday!

My brother and sister-in-law built their house from the ground up. My brother is a pretty talented carpenter. My sister-in-law is very artistic and does mosaic and stained glass work throughout their house.

Here are couple stained glass pieces that are embedded in the walls of their house.

Flame stained glass.

Flame Stained Glass is located up in their loft near some windows. It perfectly captures some southern lighting.

Stained glass next to their front door. The door is unfinished.

On either side of their front door are these beautiful pieces. Unfortunately, their front door faces north, so the light doesn't hit it. I imagine these pieces would be very pretty in direct light.

  1. I really like the first picture of the flame stained glass embedded in the wall. I've never seen anything like it - really neat. Thanks for sharing.

  3. And this one is pretty! I never thought this stained glass is easy as I thought. I love the first photo; it looks like there’s a fire in the wall! Keeps my mouth hanging for a bit. Cool!

  4. If this week’s PGA Championship is anything like the other majors this season, it will be one of the most-watched PGA Championships in recent memory. Much of that can be attributed to the return of Tiger Woods.

Whether it’s Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth or another reason that has you tuning in for the event, there will be no shortage on places your can view it. As far as online streaming goes, there will be featured group coverage provided by the event and Turner and CBS, which owns the rights to broadcast the tournament. (Look for Woods to be in one of those featured groups. He has been most of the season.)

Check out the schedule below for all your streaming needs, which can be found on PGA.com and the PGA Championship mobile app. (All times ET.)
